My shop has a 6 station screenprinting setup. We do standard silkscreening as well as custom full-color work on an Anajet shirt printer that is essentially a computer-drived inkjet printer for fabrics.

As you know, prices vary by number of shirts, type of shirt, number of screens to be burned for the job, etc.

Well maybe you can help me out further. I need prints made from paitings
on canvas. Would I have to photograph the painting and put in on disk
or can you work with the canvas itself??

If you're trying to reproduce a full-color painting on a shirt, silkscreening isn't the best way to go. It's great for logos, copy, and simple designs in blocks of color. The Anajet can do a full-color reproduction, but the per-shirt price is higher. You would have to provide the digital file, or a good digital color photo. Trying to pull a good scan off of canvas is problematic...you lose detail in the scan, and then lose again in the reproduction.

I can check with the people in the office on the details, as far as accepted format for the Anajet...how many pieces are you looking for and what type (shirts, hats, etc.)?

Im looking for prints that are on a nice thick paper for "art prints"
does that make any sense? not sure how else to put that lol similar
to posters. Im currently waiting on a response from
Burlesque Design of North America...

I belive what you are looking for is called "Giclee", I know that is what they use for fine art.
First you want the high resolution digital scan, I believe the giclee is the standard for oil painting reproduction, virtually no loss in quality and it replicates the paint printing onto canvas.
For just posters you can take any digital image and get it printed out somewhere..
