CHEAP "one armed" glove bag.

Simply use any LARGE (see through) trash bag.
(like trash liners, in trash cans - you see at most gas stations)

Use a single rubber type kitchen or medical/lab glove.

Place a can of Oust/Lysol inside the bag & a large sterile gauze pad (for cleaning/wiping sanitizing whatever is in the bag) with your other myco things you plan to do (G2G grain jars, spore prints -shot glass- syringes, whatever, etc).

Slide the glove on your hand, stick that gloved hand in the bag neck, use some surgical tubing (or masking tape  :smirk: - if you don't have surgical tubing) to attach the bag to the wrist of the glove your hand is IN.

You now have a one armed ghetto still air glove bag.

Spray a little sanitizer, swab down the inside & content & go to work.

You can use your OTHER HAND (outside the bag) to grasp - hold - unscrew - or whatever is in the bag. As it is OUTSIDE the bag & separated from the interior content, by the bag.

If you want to spend a couple more bucks.

Build yourself a PVC pipe frame  (two 8 ft lengths of 3/4 inch PVC ($2) pipe cut to size & four 3 way elbows - will build a 2X2X2 ft box) that, will fit inside the bag - to hold it standing upright like a box. Simply slide the frame INSIDE the bag, before you go to work.

Build the PVC frame SMALLER than the bag you intend to use.
So the bag material has enough slack in it, you can still use the hand OUTSIDE the bag, to grasp items - INSIDE the bag.

Toilet flush simple & dirt cheap.

Before I built my glove box I would just spray the inside of a garbage bag and work in there. I would just wash both arms and stick them in. Nothing too fancy but it got the job done on several occasions.

Simple, effective & inexpensive :thumbup: :tongue:.
Nice thing about these is - they take up almost NO SPACE & obviously are portable.  :stoned:

awesome idea!!

i've been using a 14 gallon clear plastic trashcan, just sprayed the inside with lysol , wipe it down and let it evaporate. it was completely sealed off but it stopped drafts of air and i've only had 1 agar jar get contam'ed using this method. the trashbag idea seems better tho as its more portable AND disposable.
