AFOAF was selling some "purple mushrooms with golden spots" for about double what you'd normally pay. When I asked why they were so much eh said "The purple means that they're extra potent, just like purple weed." What a dumb fuck.

You're right--thanks. I was trying to figure it using the first two boxes of the calculator--setting the "deterioration factors" for psilocybin/psilocin as 1/0 and 0/1.

So using the calculator with the Japanese values for p. cubensis:

7.8 mg psilocybin per g dry shroom (whole body)
2.3 mg psilocin per g dry shroom (whole body)
Level 3 = 1.361 grams

Is that correct?

Yes, if you set both degradation factors to 1(= no degradation at drying).
If you look at other studies, you will see that the potency of the mushrooms tested in this very study is slightly above the general average.

How many times I wanted to smack my friend when he told me that Stems are head high and caps are body high, I corrected him saying it was opposite in a myth and then proceeded to explain how bullshit it is.

After a night of X he started claiming the same statement as before....... :laugh:

Thanks for your reply.

As best I can tell, if you specify milligrams of psilocybin and psilocin per gram of dry material, the calculator ignores degradation factors. (Which makes sense if the material is already dry).
