compost concerns for tennstudd

I'm always warry of dealing with vendors who make false claims on thier websites so I'd like some explanation on some of the claims on your website. You say you are selling composted manure which is field collected. In other words, you are collecting dried out individual paddies. These will not be composted, they will be merely dried. To compost, you need a huge pile that will heat up in the middle as the composting takes place. Dried individual paddies are NOT properly composted.

You are also selling 'pre-pasteurized compost' but there are no warnings about how pasteurization effects only hold for a couple weeks. So are you pasteurizing it the day before shipping and we have to use it immediately?

False claims and no warnings tell me you are fishing for suckers and are a typical dishonest vendor. I find dried and unpasteurized compost still works but obviously not as good as properly composted and freshly pasteurized would.

It's too bad there are so many sleazy vendors who make false claims thinking 'the customer won't know any different...'. Ya, well some of us do!

another complaint against mike? I think you're the second (literally) person to be complaining about mikes product.

Here's what you should do, go to the growlog forum, do a search on all grows involving tenn studd poo, read, and then realize how asanine your statement is and shut the fuck up.

Not only is tenn studd poo a great product, mike does all he can to make us happy here at the shroomery. For instance all the specials he's running, he takes special requests in packaging the poo, and shipping rate stays constant regardless of weight.

As for his poo only being good for a few weeks is bullshit as well. If im not mistaken roadkill did a nice a grow with some TN stud poo that had been sitting around for a long ass time. I even got a grow to go with the last of a bag which had been sitting OPENED, for TWO or MORE weeks in my closet. And, btw, there is a disclaimer on his site reccomending using it in a month or so.

Lastly, you cant just use his dehydrated manure, you have to hydrate and pasteruize it yourself. You get a bargain buying the dry shit since it hydrates to three or 4 times its weight. However for people like me who just dont feel like dealing with the pain of pasteruization and what not the pre pasteruized bags are great. I got a bunch of grows to go and none contammed before the first flush.

Once again i strongly you do some research before you come to the sponser forum and flame someone who is highly respected, repuatable, and liked around here.

all the stud ive got has been top notch there buddy,and if you read his site then you would have seen that it says to use within a week of recieving,and yes he does pasturize it after you order ,hence the 9 day waitafter receiving order...great product ,fair prices  :thumbup:
im not saying you cant keep it longer than the week ,just stating what he said on his site :smirk:

Once again I'd like to thank all my supporters here at the Shroomery. I know I have a great product and have many repeat customers. If there is EVER a problem it is taken care of immediately. This arbitrary flaming, especially from someone who obviously has never used my product is a bit disheartening. Responding to this trash is beneath me. I had some pre-pastuerized Tenn Stud substrate that I left in a back bedroom all summer long...
for over 6 months while I had remodeling done on my home.
The heat in that room was between 70 and 91 degrees F.
I decided to see if it would still work...and it did.
I had a great 1st flush...and the 2nd flush is fruiting right now.

Thats gotta hurt!~

So odds are that you are a puppet that just shows up to mess with the Vendors of the Shroomery at Max's will.

Here is another warning for you...
Don't ever come into the Shroomery and post another complaint against a Vendor unless you have tried his product...and it has failed.
Or you purchased a product and you didn't recieve it.
