Cyans thru the fence

I've found a Cyan patch on a nearby Business property. My problem is it is about 4 feet inside a chain link fence. Any ideas on how to pick them through the fence? Climbing over isn't really an option at this time. I'm interested in picking the matures, but do not want to harm the pins.

Get two long sticks, with a knife on the end of each one. Stick em through and slice em off. This would be very hard to due, from 4 feet away without damaging any surrounding mushrooms though. Just go at night and climb the fence when no one is looking/around. Good luck!

jump the fence, wear inconspicuous clothes in case there is a camera, and park your car around a corner or something....and in case it wasn't painfully obvious, do it at night

OK i know what you can do.  Get some bolt cutters and just cut u a hole in it.  And if u dont want to do that thend Use those claws that old people use cause u could tape some sissors on them and then cut them and thentake the siccors off and pcik them up :cool:

That would be funny if you went to pick these mushrooms, sustained a reasonable amount of bodily damage, and then realized they were in fact not cyanescens. HAHA!

I think thats the right idea. I was actually just messin around with my buddy the other day and we stole his dads grabber stick thing and they actually worked quite nicely for pickin  :lol:

I've actually had a similar thing happen to me. I was in oregon on a trip and saw some mushrooms behind a fence, but out of reach. I was able to get them with just some stick I found on the ground.. They were pretty close to the fence though, so they didn't really get damaged in the process or anything.
