cant imagine the water doing much damage to the potency if the mushrooms are only being rinsed and not soaked for a long period of time. people do make tea with mushrooms, drink it and have a psychadelic experience. and thats water and heat, so i guess a rinse and a spin dry wouldnt harm the potency

yeah, i'm sure after brewing them, the mushrooms would be nothing but an inactive source of nutrition but would that be considered 'breaking down' or 'extracting' the psilocybin/psilocin (or is that the same thing?)

every time my buddy makes tea he makes it in room temperature water, you dont have to heat it thats a myth.

YOu can just throw sum shrooms in the water and let it soak for 30 mins then drink, make sure they are cut up before putting them in the water.
