For one thing, they do not need me right now. They have enough volunteers.
But, if they don't end this thing as easy as I think they will, I will go.
If they need people they will let us know. What is so hard to understand about that?

If I joined the army right now they would not ship me over there tomorrow. if it gets to the point where they need me, I will go. Is it always this hard to get a point across to you?

I know they wouldn't ship you over there tomorrow, but they would send you to boot camp, then in a couple of months you would be ready to enter combat, then you could put some action behind all the war talk you've been spouting off.


I got the point, but you aren't answering the questions, you are skirting the issue.

I ask you why you don't join, you say they don't need me. That's not true, they always need fresh bodies........

....and yesterday I read that in a deal with the US, the Turkish army will shortly move into northern Iraq to crush any potential Kurdish movement towards independence when the invasion eventually goes down...and the Kurds have promised that in that case they will be at war with Turkey...
Turkey on the other hand, is shit-scared their own Kurdish minority will then rise up...

see Gulf War 2/WW 2.5 for more possible scenarios....



...And at least the British Govt came out upfront and admitted that the proposed conflict was at least partly about the need to secure reliable energy supplies for the UK

I asked you a simple question, you gave a round about answer.

Its like if you were arguing that McDonald's hamburgers were the best in the world, then I asked you why you weren't eating any, and you say "because McDonald's doesn't need my money right now"

Do you see?

Not true at all. Only about 12% of our military has been moved to the region so far, and that is probably as much as we'll need. Most are marine tank squads, special ops, and airborne army. All of which take at least a year of training before you could enter combat.

There is a reason that people who use drugs are not allowed in politics and the military. Why don't you guys leave the heavy thinking to those that are more suited.
