Harvest and a few Q's plz

Sorry for not having any pics. I gotta get a cam.
So in a Theoretical equation-
Some great shroomery knowledge + Wbs spawned to three large Glade containers of Horse poo and then cased with 50/50+. Yeiled A little over 300 wet grams of quality fruits. The end result was a guy who was really pleased for his second grow.
Some questions.
-When the fruits were picked they were deeply "rooted" and really tore up the mycellium below. Is there a way advoid this? I have allready noticed pickin a bit early helps but then I don't get great prints.
-When repairing the casing layer how much more 50/50 should be added? Just enought to fill in the holes or the whole thing covered in about 1/4"?

you can try twisting the mushrooms out, not that it will make much of a difference.
You should add enough 50/50 to cover any exposed mycelium by 1/4", not necesarrily the whole darned thing, just whereever its needed to level it out.

I agree, twisting greatly reduces the amount of damage. Hold the shroom by the base, rotate the shroom as you pull it out. This will leave most of the myc behind. Only patch the divots where you harvested. Enjoy!

once you have all you cakes completely used, could use them to spawn to poo?

If they are completely used, there's not much left to use as spawn, considering you are using a safe ratio of 2:5, you're bulk substrate you are spawning to will not be much more then a fully colonized cake to begin with. Although if you are just looking to utilize every last bit of resource, yes.

thanks guys.  I'm quickly learning about the twisting.  My casings has really shrunk alot after blowing that first load. They are now kinda like really large cakes.  What if I ditch the glade ware and flip over the casing turned cake and boost up the humidty...The question I have now is by turning the casing's life upside down is it gonna be able to fruit its ass off.  I dont know but we will find out.  :crazy2:
