don't you love how they come in and don't recognize things. once i got busted for opium, it tooks 5 narcs to id it. another time a friend of mine had his door kicked in and had a pile of ketamine on his table, they tested it for meth and coke and just left it there when it came up negative. well, good luck on your probation and may your rat bleed to death out of his asshole.

your lawyer is wrong, there's a paper trail to follow for court, you are
mirandized and are asked to sign a rights waiver/statement noting that
you were read your rights, if the procecution cant produce that, they lose

My miranda was not read to me till the day after by JP and I did sign a paper saying so at this time but the investigator says he did so while we were waiting for his supervisor to show up. Nothing sign then. So does that mean anything I said before JP does not count?

alot of times they forget to read you your miranda rights...

the cops will just lie in court to the judge and say they did.

who is the judge gonna believe?

For the longest time I would tell people I was getting them out of Austin. Some of the ladies I gave them to started wondering why I had them and had not been going to Austin. The weather was not right either. ??? Lose lips sink ships(in my case a shroom grower)

If your selling, don't sell out of where you live. Best just don't sell. Always someone out there willing to trade your freedom for theirs.

Lol, I was so drunk off my ass I could have signed away my life to the devil that night for all I knew...

I clearly remember not ever hearing my rights read to me though... Good info though if I ever get into that situation again...

I was Framed for framing someone by a girl who claimed loved me like I was romeo and she was juliet. Their evidence was all hearsay and my court appointed attorney was a DA for another county some years back. Some defense lawyer huh? Anyway...moral...if they're on the side of the court (and sometimes even not in my case)...they'll bend you over, slam you in the ass, and get away with it because this is the Divided States of Embarassment.

I've had a few 40's and got a little carried away right there but fuck it. FUCK COPS. EAT SHROOMS AND BE SAFE!!!

PS: BE FUCKING SAFE GOD DAMMIT!

Miranda rights are only necessary if they are going to use what you said in court.
I didn't say anything but "I wish to speak to my attourney before answering any questions sir", so they didn't bother reading Miranda rights.
I have a similiar bust story (with a few more big charges) that is still  a little to early to tell.
Know what you're going thru.

Hang in there. Being put in this kind of situation will test one's metal. There will be ups and downs, some you will see coming. Some you want. Friends will stab you in the back and others will help that you never knew were their.

ive been busted twice now. the first time i was pretty much red handed with an ounce of fungus and an 8th of pure beautiful MDMA shards. it cost me $12,000 to the best lawyer in town.
the second time the sacks o boomers were under the passenger seat that i was sitting in when we got pulled over. the driver rolled over to the cop and told him that they were mine. he drove away with a quarter of coke in his pocket while i went to jail.
upon release i did as ordered and called my probation officer. i told her, "fuck off, i cant afford a lawyer right now. ill call the courts when i can".
im facing some pretty nasty felonies. Possesion of a controlled substance schedule 1, a class A felony. manufacture of a controlled substance schedule 1, class A felony.
i figure 24,000 on up to 36,000 should buy my fredom. hence, i been makin lotsa grain jars.

Hope that driver drives straight to hell.

I think it will take more than $36,000 to buy your way out but remember they will want to know how you got that money. They may say it's drug money, take it and you.

Lawyer fees are astronomical, $150/hr seems standard for a criminal defense attourney.  I found out who Narc'ed on me pretty quickly, and proceeded to hand out flyers at a local Ratdog show stating: Matt Falco is a narc, do not work with him, this is no joke.  It got the point across to most of the people he could have tried to narc out, as I was not the first.  The few friends he had turned on him once he openly admitted to narcing to save his own ass from charges that paled in comparison to what I'm now facing.  How could one live with oneself with that on their conscience?  If Karma really exists, narcs (civillian informants) will face a fate much worse than death; I can only hope.
Good luck with your case KaptKid, and thank you for being a real human being and dealing with the charges instead of passing on the consequences with interest to a friend, like some weak-minded individuals do, as we know all to well.

P.S.  When it is sensible to do so, I will post a thread similiar to yours describing the details of what happened to me, as we can all learn from other's experience.  I truly hope your case is dismissed with all charges dropped.
