Dream: The Guppy-Eating Pornstar

how's this for weird: i'm walking along a path in some marshlands, apparently tending to a long line of baby chickens, or 'chicks.' something is seriously wrong with the chicks. a narrator's voice can be heard booming overhead, as though i'm inside my own warped nature program: "The most defining characteristic of the marshland chick is its apparent lack of beauty. The marshland chick is a very ugly bird."

i walk faster than the chicks, who walk four or five to a file, silently and with a disturbing waddle. i reach the front of the line and make a sharp turn in front of them in an attempt to cut through the marshlands and find my way home. it gets a little hazy here, and i understand that i'm in the presence of a pornstar who is concerned about a sex scene she's to perform with the beautiful "insert female name here." my pornstar companion holds my arm and points to the glow of a tv screen, where i see the beauty in question, who is performing her "guppy-gulping' scene. she swallows two little fish without blinking and then pulls from a bucket the largest damn guppy i've ever seen, unlocks her jaw like a snake, and gulps the thing down in perhaps the most agonizingly erotic performance to which i've ever had to bear witness. she then rubs her bloated belly, turns to my companion, says "look, I'm pregnant," and the whole thing melds into this weird place with my alarm buzzing and gunk in my eyes

that's even weirder than the dream I recently had where my genitals were cut off and I had to give birth to a twisted fetus through the gash between my legs... it felt like taking a shit. Really fucked up dream

Do you have that documentary-style "narrator" in many of your dreams? It's definitely an interesting aspect!

Some of my dreams take on a "movie" theme. At the end of the dream I'll even be treated to a set of scrolling credits as my vision goes black and names "scroll" upwards. It's really strange.

that's the question! I'm so used to writing my dreams down, I can't seem to tell if the narrator voice was a "real" aspect of my dream, or if I invoked it upon waking. somewhere inbetween, probably.

this was by far the most interesting dream I've had in a while, though.
