Question about trade ratings

Okay some guy on here gave me two ratings one in general and one in trade(I never made a trade with the guy) calling me a leo. I find these ratings to be very slanderous and the only reason he left them for me was because he disagreed with a comment I made in this thread http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/4771335/an/0/page/0

Is there anyway that a mod/admin can edit out these comments and delete the trade rating since a trade was never made. This is clearly an abuse of the rating system. It's cool by me that the one shroom rating be left in general as thats his opinion but I don't feel its right that it remain permanent on my ratings being called leo. Thanks for you time guys.

I can accept his right to give me a bad general rating but calling someone a cop on site like this is taboo unless you have good reason to believe something like that you don't just go throwing that name at someone because you disagreed with them. His leaving a trade rating is just blatant abuse of the trade rating system. Mods/Admins??

Fixed, and he's banned for 24hrs with this warning:

"Giving out FALSE trade rating, accusing a member of being an LEO without ANY proof. Continue this kind of behavior and expect a much tougher response."

I feel kinda like a dolt, but I can't find any information on the whole bloody site about what the heck a trade rating is! If anyone could explain the concept to me, or point me to where I can find out, man I would be pleased!

Here is an example for you....


If you look at QuantumMeltdown 's post above yours...

You will see Green colored mushrooms under his name...

this is the Trade Rating of this person.


If you click on his Green colored mushrooms...

it will take you to his Trade Rating page...

The Blue colored mushrooms are General Ratings.



Trade Ratings...

are given when you have had a successful or an unsuccessful trade with another Shroomery Member.

We use Trade Ratings to keep track if someone is following through with their trades.

To elaborate further, we have a Marketplace forum here that is designed to facilitate private sales or exchanges (trades) between members of the community.  New users will not gain access to this part of the website until they have been around for at least three months and made a total of 50 or more posts.  The trade ratings are designed to help you make an informed decision regarding the risk involved when trading with a stranger online.  You should only give or receive trade ratings when a sale or a trade has taken place.
