I recently bought a HEPA filter with these characteristics:
-Filter classification: H14 to EN1822 -Dimensions: 610x610x69mm -Velocity: 0.45 m/s -Resistance: 125 Pa -Efficiency: 99.995%
And my blower have these:
Circular duct fan RVK 150E2-A1 Mid-frequency band, HzHz Tot 63 125 250 500 1k 2k 4k 8kLwADuctdB(A) 70 52 57 64 63 61 60 54 48LwASurroundingdB(A) 51 45 32 35 43 47 43 39 33With LDC 160-900LwADuctdB(A) 53 49 48 47 35 24 12 16 26 Measuring point: qv= 0,06 m3/s, Ps= 200 Pa
my question is: is okay this blower to my HEPA ,plus a 3cm thick furnace prefilter???
Many thanks in advance!

it should be suitable, if you are in america you'll need a 240v outlet acording to the data sheet

Thanks for your answer Prisioner#1. could you or somebody explain me how do you do the calculation (using the data I gave) to know if my blower is suitable for my filter?

I have done the calculation and: my filter is 2ftx2ft: 4ft2 I did 100ft/minx4ft2: 400ft3/min. 1cfm:1.7m3/h. 400cfm: 680m3/h. So my blower must deliver 680m3/h at the sum of the STATIC PRESSURE of the HEPA filter + prefilter.
My HEPA filter sheet data says it has a 125 Pa resistance (is this the same that the STATIC PRESSURE mentioned above??), if so my blower must deliver 680m3/h at 125 Pa(HEPA filter resistance)plus 50 Pa (furnace filter resistance), what give us :
680m3/h at 175 Pa of STATIC PRESSURE, is it right?
Now, how do you know my blower should be suitable for this filter, using for the calculation the blower data sheet I posted yestarday?
THANKS AGAIN in ADVANCE!

420 ((cubic feet) per minute) = 713.584534 (cubic meters) per hour
here's a conversion table http://www.heatsink-guide.com/index.html the info on the blower came from the companies website

Ok Prisoner, I went to the company website and It says about my blower: RVK 150E2 A1: maximum air flow:0.12m3/s or 420m3/h. are you sure you are seeing the same blower model??? I want to be pretty sure before making my flowhood...

aparently I had the wrong site... I just found the same one you've got, it may be under powered by about half after reading a bit more on the actual specs of your blower
