you cant really build a hepa filter, you can modify them to fit an existing space you'll need a lot of silicon caulk

first is the expensive equipment, some of those machines can run more than $100k then of course the materials, they'll expect you to buy tons of the stuff, you'll need a building to make them in....
again, modifying an existing hepa is easy, I did mine with a band saw but a coping saw will work too and it only costs about $6

An HEPA filter should be a filter that stops also the smaller particles into the air..so why doesn this work? I mean..an HEPA filter shouldn't offer some requisites? so an HEPA filter of the vacuum shouldn't be as a n HEPA filter for the labs?
Thank you!

You can't replace a 5" thick aluminum and ceramic filter with a 1" thick paper vacuum cleaner filter, regardless if it says 'hepa' or not. There is much more involved. You want a laminar flow hepa filter, which means it must be rated to withstand pressure on one side. If you pressurized a paper filter, it would blow out. RR

There are home hepa filters and there is laboratory hepa filters, you won't one made for an lab. Becase, thay are rated down to .3 macron's. Whan most home use filters are not rated down to .3 macrons.
