This post isn't *exactly* relating to an ethnobotanical garden, but close enough.

The question is simple enough - I'd like to hear from anyone who owns/has read Shulgin's TIHKAL and/or PIHKAL - how did you like the book(s) that you read, and which one do you recommend someone to buy first, or does it really not matter?

I have cross-posted this in "spirituality and philosophy" but no other forum.

Replies and takes on these two books requested!

I have got tikhal and its a great book pity part one of it is missing of the online version. But i have heard somewhere there is a newone comeinge out soon qikhal.
Still not sure of what its about though.

I'm about 1/4 of the way through book one of PIHKAL. It makes for good reading and I would definetly recommend reading it. If you don't know if you want to buy it why don't you check libraries in your area? My university library has PIHKAL (which I currently have checked out) but not TIHKAL.
