Can anyone tell me what Catha edulis (Khat) and Mitragyna Speciosa (Kratom) is like to grow and if the results are worth it?
Is there much difference between Datura Inoxia and Datura Stramonium?
Any other plants or cacti anyone can think of?

I would say why not if you live in a climate they can stay outdoors and khat looks like a nice house plant. Datura inoxia has white flowers and stramonium is white with purple throats sometimes purple edges.

You won't get khat to germ unless you get a good vendor and the plant itself is illegal in the US. The seeds are very difficult to germinate if you don't know what you are doing.

The plant isn't specifically scheduled, but cathinone it's active is scheduled.

Ambiguous laws mean that khat itself would be considered illegal as a vessel for cathinone. Same logic that makes the psilocybin-containing mushrooms illegal. It's certainly a grey zone, but if they really wanted to pursue it, they probably could.
Though 99.999% of standard cops would have no clue what the hell it was.

yeah no cops probably would, mushrooms are specifically scheduled though and how come trichocereus sp. are never considered illegal then for containing schedule 1 mescaline? I think they might treat khat the same way unless you clearly planned to ingest it,(having fresh leaves in your mouth,or a couple bundles of leaves laying around) they could go farther though.
