which is easier to grow (IYO), bud or shrooms?

what do you guys think? shrooms seem much easier to me, i'm reading about growing bud, and although it dosen't seem hard, it does seem a lot more complex to grasp for a rookie.

its easy yo grow bud, but the smell is a problem, and i mean a problem, if u grow in ur basement, ur who basement will smell and possibly ur whole house. so get some filter or somethin, because bud will smell ur house up.

what about an apartment in a complex? i'm not so much worried about the smell as I am just learning to do the right things and not turn some expensive seeds and materials into a waste by fucking up.

dude, u will worry about the smell, 100% guarentee. use seeds from weed u buy, just plant em, ask people around for sites, because theres a lot of info about it on the net.

dude, I know there's a lot of information on the net, i've already read a shitload about it..and i'm not gonna use seeds from weed I buy, I want them guarenteed female and wanna know exactly what i'm growing and the precise way to grow it. good seeds are definatly worth the $$, I just gotta know how to grow the shit the right way first..:)

Unfortunately boarder, there is no guarantee that a seed will turn out female; too many things can make a "female" go to male (stress such as lack of water, root damage, burns by heat and chemicals in soil, lack of light, etc, etc, etc.....). So, you might even have the same luck w/ a bag seed if it looks healthy enough. Just watch it when it starts flowering. And look out for hermies too!!!

since you've already looked around the net as you have said, i'm fairly sure you've already come across overgrow.com... but if not, check them out, they are the people you should be asking :wink:

oh and imho, shrooms are easier to grow than bud, although i have only read about growing bud and do not have any direct experience so mho doesn't mean much :shocked:

I reckon it's easier to grow bud than shrooms. I have harvested some nice bud, But havn't had any luck with shrooms yet (only green mold). Smell is worse when your drying. Keep "PH" levels around 6.5, Lighting for veg growth is 18 hours on 6 hours dark. Lights for flowering is 12 on 12 off. Nothing hard or complex here, Plant a seed and watch it grow. My first grow, I put a seed outside in a pot, Watered it and it grew. did nothing special, No ph adjust, No fertilizers and i ended up with a nice amount of good smoke.

Don't limit yourself to one hobbie. They are diffferent products true, each with its own plus and minuses...Weed does smell very strong and takes a longer time from begining to finish, mushrooms are faster which are more prone to infection... Do tons of research, knowledge always beats ingredients, asking a varied question is not for us to answer..You should find what you want and the karma should work with you....

yeah i've read overgrow quite a bit, it's not nearly as newbie friendly as the shroomey is to shrooms though.
but still, any information is helpful information.

Sometimes it may be caused by stress, but it could be the seed as well. Just toss them with the males if you find any.

get SAGE, heheh, best weed, 20 dollars a joint, 20 dollars a seed, and sage isnt fuckin Salvia(i mean salvia is sage but this is somethin else), it stands for sativa afgani somethin somethin, 10 seeds a packet, 200 dollars, want the link? but first try regular shit and see if u can handle it.

yeah i've been reading about all those differnt strains of seeds Mark Emery sells...sativa seems like more my type rather than indica. it's harder to grow and takes longer though.

but dude, u will like it, its the shit, i havent tried it yet, because no1 has it yet, but i tried a sativa/indica mix and it is hella good, SAGE is about 2 times better, well it should be, that shit was 1 gram for 20 dollars, all u need is one hit, with sage u take one hit and ur done. but first plan it out, because it will smeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel.

An ionizer comes to mind for the smell.. it will remove ALL odor.

An ionizer will work ok, but if you use it in the grow room your weed will not have a smell either, how about a ozone generater...
