What's a TIT setup?
    #4658690 - 09/14/05 09:55 AM (11 years, 5 months ago)

Could someone tell me what this stands for? I have been recommended to use this method an earlier post, but searching for 'TIT' hasn't produced much on this site, no prizes for guessing what google will come up with

http://www.google.ie/search?hl=en&q=define%3A+bain+marie&meta=
says it is equivalent to a double boiler. no mention of steam. People sometimes steam chocolate in a bowl above boiling water to melt it but it should be a very gentle heat.

I just mentioned it as a better word to put into google than tit, although tit get some nice hits!
