Does anyone else share my sense of humor? Does this not illustrate perfectly the idiocy of modern society?

The point is, WHO THE HELL SENDS LETTERS TO SANTA CLAUSE?!? And God, c'mon... Sure kids do it, but first, why don't the parents take care of it so the letters don't interfere with my legitimate mail, and second, how is there such a degree of sent mail that is so obviously undeliverable to warrant a PAGE ON THE WEB WITH INSTRUCTIONS. The problem isn't whether God and Santa exist or not, it's that they sure as hell don't have a nice little villa with a red mailbox out front.

if it's addressed to "north pole", with the way the computer systems work, it might end up in some actual city, costing the postal service all the delivery charges there and back to the sender... Do you want to pay a bunch of humans to sit there and read the address of each piece of mail to check if the recipient is legit?

No, I just want people to be less stupid and not send letters to fictional characters.
