just look in the phone book and pick something that will at least check out.
You really think they run every return address through a national database?
Yes, they do. I worked at one of the facilities that did it.

Ojam Said:What about people that write the return address on the back of the envelope? Are postal workers concerned about those until they flip them over? Are they flagged by the OCR machines and diverted for return address checks?
Usually, a return address is only checked when: 1. Insufficient postage 2. Bad receiving address 3. Receiver askes for it to be returned
If a return address is needed and it is not on the front, it is usually first flipped over then reread. If it is not on the back either, it just gets dumped as far as I know.

Sounds like you accomplished a lot of good things.
Have you ever considered the possibility that the Shroomery may not be the best thing for you?

I haven't read the whole thread so sorry if this has been said, but if you're reluctant to use your real address, just make the return address the same as the destination address. That way there is a valid return address on the envelope.
It keeps the envelope from looking strange and attracting attention. Nobody will notice unless they look closely.

no return address and bring it to one of those mail boxes on the street, you know those blue things where u pull the lever down, put the mail in, and drop the lever... that way there is no way it can be traced unless they fingerprint it...

that depends on how you define "fake".
I use the address of a store or something down the street, with a completely fake name listed. That way it's a real address and can't draw any attention that way, yet can't be linked to me.
