No, it's only 19 but I run my old 23 quart presto at the same time, it does 7. Still, I can get 100 jars done in a day

The Presto is a great PC, just too small. It was my first. I don't know how peeps can get by with those small ones. Way too much time and work to do jars.

I want to see a pic of that with 20 jars in it. I was under the impression that the AA 941 is the largest and it only holds 19.

Have you gotten a new seal yet ?

well gurl, I would show you a pic with 20, but I only have 10,lol. And, some of those are being used. Let me see what I can do later. And no, I havent needed to buy a new seal for it. My grandma taught me that if you rub it with vaseline every so few months, it will last forever. When I said 20, I meant 2 layers of ten.

I know what you meant,lol.

I'm gonna say you can't get 20 in it.

I thought you were looking for a seal before you could use it a week or so ago.

You'll love it.

Hippiechick, with that pc, you need to forget about jars girl! 18 qts is only 2.25 gallons of actual substrate if the jars are half full. You can pretty easily manage six 1 gallon bags in a 941! (6 x 1 gallon works better than 3 x 2 gallon, sometimes the substrate expands, crams itself in there, and is nearly impossible to get out without dumping the bags out, something which is hard to do and keep them sterile!).

I just looked at my profile and realized I had a website at one point in time on geocities, it's not there anymore and I have no idea what I had on it. Anybody remember my website from several years aga? PM if so please.

I already have a case of 1 gallon impulse seal bags. Working on getting the impulse sealer now. Out of curiousity, what psi is equivalent to 165 degrees ?

hmmm, 165 C I assume? That would be 329 F, which would be hella high pressure, like well over 30 psi which would only be like 279 F.

Of course if you meant 165 F, then you certainly know that 0 psi is needed for that, so that can't be what you meant....

Perhaps it was a typo and you meant 265 F, that would be somewhere near 25 psi which is too high to run that AA at IMO.

Did that help?
