Contam or not contam? (good pic!)

So I have no idea if this is contamination or the substrate showing throgh, combined with water damage? When I was steaming the jars, some steam must have gotten into the jar, the substarte looked soggy and was heavier than the rest. As it was being colonised the soggy bits that were pressed up againsta the jar took long to cover and seem to still be there now. The cake smells pretty normal, and i dont want to throw it away if i dont have to.......... any imput would be really apreciated.............thanx

p.s. as I dont have a digital camera, I just stuck the cake on the scanner, and it seemed to work great!

yeah, I've got that with a few jars as well, I'm thinking it's too much water (my last set dried out, this time, I probably used to much water) so yeah, any confirmation, folks?

thanks for the pic btw, I came here to ask this same question, but had no pic :)

Looks fine to me. I have seen that same thing with some of my cakes (BRF and Verm).
If you still question them, I would isolate the cakes that look like that.

that happen tp my friend it took a little bit longer but we ate the mushies and they were just as good as any thing else. im still here and we tripped hard!!!!!!
