grain spawn - which grain?

hi folks! my wookie friend wanted to make grain spawn but he's afraid to explode the grains bcs of pressure cooker. he can choose among oat, wheat germ, brown rice, small brown rice, barley, sunflower or bird seeds... which grain(s) would you recommend?

thanks anno! but... which bird seed? there are lots of kinds, mixed, staright... are there any bad types to avoid?

It should be millet based. I usually work with rye though.
