It also makes me embarassed that he turned down Russian aid. The fucking cold war is over. This was a major slap in the face to Russia if you ask me. We are taking others aid but will not allow help from Russia.
"With offers from the four corners of the globe pouring in, Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has decided "no offer that can help alleviate the suffering of the people in the afflicted area will be refused," State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said Thursday.

FEMA was slow here in Charlie and you'd think they learned
Fuck it turn the shit over to the military, they would have had bases up and running at the superdome and civic center within 12 hours

Yeah I can understand why they don't want military in the states however they are offering humanitarian aid not military. We denied Russian humanitarian aid basically saying that we do not trust them being in our country. In my perspective that is a major slap in the face to Russia. Especially seeing as a country as ethnocentric as China is conducting War Games with Russia right in the Chinese homeland. This is only adding fuel to that fire.
