So what. You reap what you sow. You cant expect to go on raping the planet and not see some consequences from your actions at some point. The spikes in petroleum based products are what you get for building your entire economy on a non-renewable resource of which the major supplies are out of your jurisdiction.

We deserve whatever we get.

I just think society as a whole has a big lesson to learn before this is all said and done. Gas prices being the least of our concerns. Indeed, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The beast will show its ugly face soon enough.

Gas here is now in the $3.16 to $3.20 range for regular unleaded.

On the plus side, my car gets 27 mpg on the freeway at 9 over the limit, the speed I always drive at. On the down side, I have to use 91 octane or higher.

On the double plus side, I don't have a commute. I work from home.

I found gas for 2.69 in a small station in bum fuck egypt had to wait 20 mins. Filled up my car for 25 that should last a good 1-2 weeks.

Nah really... it's not your fault man. Veggie fuel has been around for over 100 years. Blame the government and the oil companies for supressing it from you and everyone else.
