Gas prices..

Well with Russia's oil company going bankrupt oil closed at an all time high yesterday at over 42 a barrel.. that means gas prices will once again hit an all time high. For those of you who don't know, gas prices rise and fall due to the closing price of crud oil per barrel. I sure miss a dollar a gallon!

just wait until peak oil hits us, then all that cheap oil will become more and more expensive to drill for because it is harder to get to, not to mnetion the machines that drill for oil ned oil. that's when shit will go bad.

hell, when gas is like 4 bucks here in cali, and it's too expensive to go to work, that's when the GDP will go down, and yep...you guessed it, catastrophe.

We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

I deliver pizza, and the higher gas prices havent really effected me....it cost me at most an extra dollar or two a day, and that sucks but i dont think its a catastrophe

it use to be dirt cheap for gas, and if the prices keep going up, it wont be perdy, everything is fueled by gas and oil these days, it will effect everything from the food and produce that needs to be shipped to the chair your sitting on made by machines which require oil, prices of everything will go up.

Yes but you have to remember that its like 4/5 bucks a gallon or something over in europe.... so technically we're still getting cheap gas. Yeah it sucks that its goin up, but I think we'll be okay, most others seems to be.

Guess we just gotta grow all our own drugs now.

I wish gas prices would go up to 4-5 dollars a gallon. Push the demand for more fuel efficient vehicles and get all these SUV driving fools to come to their senses. A Honda insight can get 60mpg and yet nobody is buying them. They would rather cruise around in some gas guzzling monstrosity like the new Hummers that get 13mpg if your lucky.

I just looked it up, it seems the average H2 driver gets 10mpg! Bush's new tax plan allows business owners to deduct the entire $55000, which if your in the highest tax bracket, saves you a total of $22000. With savings like that, can you afford not to have one.

here its been going down like 1.79-1.94 depending on overhead

it was up near 225 this last winter

You know FUCK gas,I mean I love tec.but sometimes I wish the machine would all go away!Think about people living off the land (shrooming in a hut)I dont know but I watch the the news I know that the us Eco.$$$$$$ runs on fuel and I"m a part of it in the steel Inds.I work in.Im I just negative or is this country ran by the rich(fuel monsters?)I Wish I could party for a few weaks with some of the people around the USA with the same fealings(shoot the shit and,go to the moon!)without violance the peace and love type shit like the 60's..Later...

Gas is like $1.91 for regs here. It went down a few cents about a month ago. It was up about 20 cents more then that a year ago. The prices overall are double what they were 10 years ago. It is damn expensive, and its really expensive in the city and on the thruway and stuff. That can get up to 2.25 for reg.

Thats some bullshit about SUV mpg, I bet bush has a H2 Limo. Those people are just suppourting the war...

I'm not sure how many mpg I get, but its good enough on gas for me!  :grin:
