Because either we misinterpert your sense of humor over a wide range of people, or you take the shit too far.

I think mods shouldn't be able to ban, or atleast it should take more than one mod to initiate a ban.

Reason:
If a user like KOTT would like to regain access to any forums from which they have been restricted, I urge them to contact an administrator directly (through our support form for example: http://www.shroomery.org/support ) to present their reasons and basically sell us on the idea. While I'm sure KOTT would appreciate your support and enthusiasm, a mob will not dictate action here, and it is up the person in question to resolve any disputes they may have been involved with before any retroactive action is taken. LiquidSmoke, while I agree that having multiple mods sign off on a ban is a good idea, it is also a bit impractical since we do get quite a few problems to deal with each day, and with the exploding growth of this community it just makes more sense to allow for quick action, even if in some cases it may be the wrong action. In those unfortunate events where we do make a wrong move, you only need to clearly explain to an administrator why, and I'm sure everything will be resolved shortly.
