Roland Juno 106, for it's sweet, sweet classic pads....

Otherwise I use VST's. I'm getting a Novation ReMote 61 for my birthday next week

I havent actually bought a synth yet since I've been reading up on them. But from what I've read the Access Virus C, Waldorf Q+, Nordlead 3 are excelent synths...especially for trance music.

Thats just screaming "Push my keys!"

But Im actually looking into getting a nordlead 3 for my first synth. The Yamaha motiff isnt a bad either...every time I go to guitar center its like time doesnt exist. I think the last time I went I spent 1 1/2 hours toying around with it and I ended up being late for work

Check out this message board. Alot of the people know a bunch when it comes to producing/recording/synths/sequencers...and so on...
