Un-tapered Jars? help

In my area all i can find is un-tapered jars. Can i use them to colonize and just dig out the substrate when its done colonizing? Im casing

Yes, that is how it is done. You only need tapered jars if you want to work with whole cakes. Casing is better anyhow.

Well i now you said you going to case Im just posting this incase you or any other people on the shroomery Read this

Normally drinking Cups work Great And they cheap as hell because i know alot of people Cant get Untapperd 1/2 pint jars :)
They rock Just put some cling rap and tin foilf when you boil them :) dunno if you can pressure cook them
