drying using only a dessicant?

is this at all possible? has anyone ever done this? i have no room for a fan box etc.

you don't nned a fan box, just put them into a box with a fan.

Yes, I've dried using only dessicant. Will cost you more dessicant and it will be more trouble keeping up with the chamber (removing moisture, adding/replacing dessicant), but they will dry perfectly well and cracker dry.
