Paul Anka - Rock Swings

So has anyone heard Paul Anka's new CD?

It actually is pretty good.  He covers a whole bunch of songs in his Lounge Singer kinda way.  He covers Eye of the tiger, It's my Life - Bon Jovi, Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden, Wonderwall - Oasis, Everybody Hurts - REM and finally, the shocker, Smells like Teen Spirit - Nirvana.

Check it out, it's pretty funny and good :laugh:

I love lounge music, and I love inappropriate covers even more. I think I will check this CD out, thanks for the recommendation.

If you like lounge music and inappropriate covers, check out Black Velvet Flag. They do all punk covers lounge style. I'll have to check out some of that Anka there Frank.

I have been a fan of Paul Anka for almost 30 years. He is huge in a few entertainment venues. BUT>...................

I have heard some of this Album and I think it sucks. Not to put a damper in your hamper.

It may be the fact he has released a cover album that gets to me. With all the talent he has I think it is a shame he had to do this for cash.

Well anyway I don't like it.
