Braveheart for sure.  Especially the shots of his warrior buddies grimicing in pain at Wallace's torture, knowing they can't do anything for him and its his own battle.

And I know I'll get flamed for this, cuz its obviously meant to elicit the cry, is in Pearl Harbor, when Cuba Gooding Jr. takes the anti-aircraft gun and shoots down the plane.  Gets me everytime.

the Green Mile. anyone who can watch that without crying once is'nt human. (or is missing the emotion button for sure) props to whoever it was who mentioned Hotel Rwanda. when the missionaries had to leave the children, man, sapped the badass right out of me.

Yea you nailed it.  Thats exactly how I feel.  Tim Burton definitely tends to do that to me.  The climax of Big Fish had me losing it. 

I got the very same feeling when Toots and the Maytals finished playing at Bonnaroo this year too... cried for half an hour!  It was emberrasing and liberating at the same time. :tongue2:

Music gets me a lot. Like I won't cry cry (I meant to say it double like that) but I'll get choked up. Occasionally I a few tears will roll down but only when I'm in just the right mood for the music.

I'm a total movie fiend. I love film. I especially love old films. And I love classics. I love films that are so magnificent that you can feel yourself getting lost in them and also I love films that are done by true masters and true artists who are trying to convey emotions and thoughts in their works. Anything by Kubrick, Huston or Welles usually gets me. Casablanca (my all time favorite film by the way) always gets me too. Also, gangster movies do a lot also. I'm a huge Bogart fiend too, so usually anything with him will get me.

The only reason I even have a tv is for TCM which is on nearly every day in my house.

Films that usually get me

Casablanca
Paths of Glory
The Maltese Falcon
Scarface (the original 1932 one)
A Clockwork Orange

Hmm... those are the ones off the top of my head.

Also... The Brave Little Toaster... goddamn that fucking movie. It's sadistic to show to young kids. I remember being little and having a nervous breakdown watching it. Even just seeing the Toaster now freaks me out and gives me a little anxiety now.

Books make me cry a lot more than movies do, that's for sure. Especially series of books when you just want it to never end, and when it does you feel as if you've lost real friends. Stephen King's Dark Tower series had the tears flowing a few times.

Also, I teared up while watching The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys today.

I cry more when a movie is triumphant than sad, though. I think I cried when I saw Friday Night Lights, as well. There are a shit-ton of movies I've cried over.

Friday Night Lights... yeah that's a fantastic pick. I actually stood up and started clapping and cheering at the end of the final game and everyone else joined me. Damn, I hate football movies but that film was unbelievable  :thumbup:
