8mm was pretty disturbing, and so was Faces Of Death when I first saw it. Now it's just cross between cheesey & stuff you'd see off of Rotten.com.

Well there is a movie about the brazilian slave trade and the snuffing that goes along with it. I believe its called "Life is cheap" or something similiar. Haven't seen it so i'll look around a lil for it.

It's called 'Snuff'...the description on the back of the box said something about how it's set in Brazil where 'life is cheap'. 

I used to work in a privately owned movie sale and rental store...they specialized in having hard to find movies...like independents, foreign, classics...I remember this movie clearly because so many men asked me if I knew anything about it.  I'd be cleaning up the area we kept new releases in, and when a guy would walk back, they'd go straight for it.  It looked like the dvd was wrapped in brown mailing paper and had, in big black letters, SNUFF written across the front.  No pictures...basically no description, just was I quoted earlier.  Very mysterious.

My boyfriend and his friend watched it while sort of tripping on shrooms...about half a dose each.  They watched it in fast forward and don't remember much.

Try the movie Audition.  I can't take movies like the ones you guys have been talking about (except Requiem) but my boyfriend saw this one and was thoroughly creeped out by it.  And it takes quite a lot to creep him out.
