Grizzly man was pretty strange. He was a total nut. It's really quite amazing that he and his girlfriend lived with those bears for 15 summers..

something i watched recently that i dont think is as mindblowing as some movies, but it made me smile: thumbsucker its about a kid who tries to become normal using sex and prescription drugs. plus the soundtrack is done by the polyphonic spree and elliott smith

& why?
Hope it's not because of Paul Giametti, because American Splendor's good film too!

Also, you should set your Shroomery settings to 20 posts per page, I think you'll find your browsing experience will be greatly improved.

I thought A Tale of Two Sisters way trying way, way too hard. I love Far East cinema, but I'm not so crazy about the horror ones.

I have old boy coming to me on sat from netflix, i cant wait.
OMR- I thought LOW was an excellent flick, i was actually expecting it to be just an OK nic cage typecast action flick but was nicely surprised. I think what gripped me the most is that it was based on some real events that happened, the ending of the movie made you truly question how the world really operates. Some of the theories and ideas presented are ones that are commonly known, but the character development, writing, and acting make you feel like its the first time you've heard of it.
I wouldn't say its as "mindblowing" as ESOTSPM, but man, its a great movie nonetheless. If you dont get it tonight i highly reccomend it for a future viewing.

DIG! is fucking great it just blew my mind with how epic and awesome it was. Felt like one of the potentially one of the most important moments in rock history.
I rented a flick a while back called "16 years of alcohol..." it was a Scotish flick that was described as a clockwork orange (rent that if you haven't seen it) meets train spotting. But it was so off, it is mega bleak sad hopeless depressing.

I rented Every Which Way But Loose.
"Phil Beddoe is an easy-going trucker and a great fist-fighter. With two friends - Orville, who promotes prize-fights for him, and Clyde, the orangutan he won on a bet - he roams the San Fernando Valley in search of cold beer, country music and the occasional punch-up."

I've rented it twice and managed to not watch it both times. Not tonight though.
