Well hello everyone, As of lately the shrooms have been good. --About a week ago i found 2 cubensis. --Then the day before haloween i collected 44 Copelandia cyanescens. --Then on haloween day i collected 6 nice specimens of Psilocybe cubensis. :) ----- The mushrooms have now moved into open grassy fields..=easier picking, cooler temps, zero misquitos, excellent quality and potency also. --Also, i have found a type of blue-staining Gymnopilus of which i have yet to identify and cannot upload images here at the sarasota public library computers. ^^^ I just read the newspaper (something i dont care to do very often anymore) and there was finally some good news, right there on the front page it said "Expect lots of rain this weekend", as there is some type of tropical disturbance stirring around CUBA right now and is expected to send its showers clear across the sunshine state. ** I will also mention that "Blue Meanies" a.k.a Copelandia cyanescens do indeed grow year-around here in florida and i have had good success every November finding them in open grassy fields in small numbers, whether it rains or not. But then of course there are more of these beautiful fruits to discover when we do in fact get rain showers. Psilocybe cubensis have been very quiet and harder to find.. Have a shroomy november, GG

==Pictured Above== Panaeolus (Copelandia) cyanescens
==Pictured Above== Panaeolus (Copelandia) cyanescens ==Pictured Below== Here is a example of a good "open field". -The mushroom that you see is actually a non-active Panaeolus. Panaeolus Antillarum..larger than i normally have seen.
