My instincts tell me that yes I probably would,if they were already dead - rather than starving to death.

Fuck yeah I'd cannibalize!  Screw starving to death!

The book "Alive" is an amazing story.  The people there did not act in an irrational way at all.  They thought a rescue was coming right from the start.  As time dragged on and things got desperate they had no choice but to starve or eat the dead.  And they did not sit around doing nothing.  They hiked all over the mountain trying to do what they thought was best.  In the end 3 men hiked out over some of the most inhospitable terrain to summon help for the survivors.  They managed to survive 2 1/2 months in a place where no human was meant to be, and they ate a lot of their friends to do so.

If you ever end up in that situation with me, well, you have my permission to eat me....because you can be damn sure I'll eat you if you die first!! :grin:

yea... i dont think id eat someone to live. i dont have that much of the will to live. not that its cause its a person, its cause eating another human will make u feel very sick. if i knew i was goin to starve to death id figure a way out to kill my self without starving to death
