How do the Occupy Wallstreet guys survive?

Im not anti occupy or anything, Infact my understanding of the event is that a bunch of college kids are pissed off and want more money from the rich


.....but how are they able to drop everything and just go do nothing all day? How are they surviving? Where are they getting food? Dont they have bills to pay? Appartments leased?

Please enlighten me. Someone has to be funding this little stunt if thousands are able to suddenly skip work, bills, and other elementry responsibilities that rest on the shoulders of any grown human :strokebeard:

Funny you asked OP.

I just saw a bunch of them in a talk show.

They open soup kitchens on site and they have donations from people.

The students go to school during the day and do their work as they should, they just sleep there, thats all

I saw a thing where some British newspaper took infrared photos of all the tents the protesters were supposedly living in at night in between the rally's.

9/10 of them were empty.

So much for loyalty to the cause. Set up a tent, protest a bit during the day and then go home and have a nice hearty meal and a warm comfy bed, then sneak back in at 6 or 7am and pretend you were out there freezing your nips off like all those other poor bastards that aren't smart enough to do the same thing.

theres alot of homeless bums occupying at our local occupy. They wouldn't be doing anything different if they weren't occupying. Then you have the hip trustafarians wearing vintage clothes who show up because they are angry that their degrees are worthless. As if it is the governments fault they took out loans for a worthless Art degree.

I spoke to one lady who was there because her fashion company went belly up and the "government" let that happen. And I just thought to myself "Well if your clothes sucked, what did you want?" Sorry we all can't be fashion designers and artist for a living, I know, life is tough.

I showed up the first day of the Occupy, and there was a good amount of normal people just angry about the way the government is heading. Rightfully so. But it seems to me that the people still left standing at the Occupy movements are just the extremist and beggars of the world.
