The Survival Podcast

very good podcast for anyone survival minded.

He doesnt just talk about survival but he talks about politics, economics, and a lot of varied topics.

He has a lot about gardening and rifles and storing food and stuff like that but i like to listen to the economic ones and stuff like that.

Keep moving, live off the land with survival skills.

I would be an individual, never teaming up. Perhaps I would share beers with an owl but if it were true apocalypse I would avoid humans.

Stealth, re-usable weaponry(knife etc)

What are you going to do with that 9mm when it runs out of ammo? Have fun lugging it around too.

It depends on my will to live. We all die in the end, so I might just go out having a blast taking out as many motherfuckers as I can.

I think you really need to be more specific as to the situation we are in OP. Paint us a clear picture, and it won't be a bunch of people beating chests as you describe it.

I have had to infiltrate  parameters before...it was only the national guard, but they still had the same set-ups,blockades,radios and patroled parameters using military equiptment.
It was not that hard, you had to recon from a distance to establish patroled parameters ,then move in closer to the underlaped areas to watch, then make you entry point and destination ,to start the process all over again once inside, untill destination/mission was complete, then head out a different way ,far far from the entry point, just in case they discovered the entry point.

Never had a close call , unless alereted they will be pretty lax, because they did not know of the infiltration.Once alerted ,your pretty much fuked ,unless you have alot of people and can make a urgent enuff diversion to make them stop the hunt.

Sometimes i think there's a real possibility we may have some choatic collapse of the system were used to. I was just woundering if this has prompted anyone to start preparing in anyway. I would like to hear.

First, i bought a couple 9mm's.  I also taught my girlfriend how to operate them correctly. keep a couple hundred rounds on hand.

This spring im doing a much bigger than usual vegitable garden.

been brewing wines to stockpile - don't want to be sober in a shitty world. It's also tradeable - my wine is excellent!

stockpiling useful stuff here and there, nothing major. stuff i could trade (soap) and stockpiled food. boots, jeans - i'l cruise through thrift stores and see how many durable jeans i can pick up for 10 bucks and set them aside.

tea, sugar, drugs- the fun ones as well as the medicinal ones.

went to the doctors to get a physical.

Nothing major you know. Plus i stock stuff i use alot because i know it will cost more in a month. so might as well, i'l save money this way.

anyone else planning ahead for this possibility?

Yeah, I've posted dozens of threads on the coming economic depression, collapse, famine etc. No one seems to give jack shit about it. All comfortable in their own little world with little regards to the possible future.

I've been getting ready, for sure.

Rather than buying all that caned food, you might consider investing in a quality dehydrator, and a vacuum sealer.

And no, I don't think about survival. I don't need to. I'm a human who lives in civilized society. I have a prefrontal cortex, I'm outside of the food chain and I pay other humans to have my resources delivered.

Edit: Holy moley, another as old as tits thread. At least this one is only as half as old as tits as the last one.
