i've only made like 2 cd labels in my life, but what i did was just print out an image, then cut it out (using regular paper) and used elmers glue to glue it to the disc.. then made sure to x-acto the image...

in your photo editing program, you should be able to set the psysical dimentions to the cd (like 5 Inches or whatever it is)... and then print it out like that... photoshop is pretty good like that.. you can also get programs that will let you do it... check out download.com maybe..

if you search google and find a good pic i could do it... maybe.... look for the bride groom more than anything... cause that's the more distinct feature.... and when you say translucent, i think you mean less opaque...

Go pickup a cd labeling kit.. they won't be too happy when your shoddy glue and paper label fucks up their dvd player, or computer.

it wont... i labeled those 2 like 4 years ago and they are still working fine... but you could probably make it look bette with a label kit if you arent that good with glue and paper...

Using a cd like that will eventually mess up your drive from spinning an unbalanced object around a couple thousand times per minute.
