We are each both the teacher and the student
    #4350146 -

Life is a lesson taught to itself.

As fragments of itself, we strive towards REunion with the entirity of the whole.

On our path, as individual subjective awarenesses, each of us are equally a teacher as we are a student. There are no absolutes for either, and the only way a person is seen as more of one than another is through a biased perceptual filter.

Discuss? :/

Ultimately, I believe you are right. It's all in how seperate you think things are.

I like the lines from Crowley: "I am seperated for the sake of love, for the chance of union." :mushroom2:

We are each both the teacher and the student

I only wish more self-proscribed "teachers" could realize this simple truth

Once, men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free.
But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.

Yeah, it's sorta like...

The greatest student is one who thinks (s)he's a teacher.

And the greater teacher is one who thinks (s)he's a student.

Or maybe...

Those who seek only to learn, have the most to teach.

And those who seek only to teach, have the most to learn.

(or something)

The most interesting people seem to be the most interested.
