What should I do with the rest of my Life ????

I am trying to pick a new major .... I decided that I did not like my current major .... Here are my choices


Agriculture
Health Sciences
Law
Medicine
Pharmacy
Communications & Information Studies
Nursing
Engineering

a major doesn't really decide what you do with your life. sure, it opens some job possibilities and such, but it's only you that decides what you do with your life. you could be extremely educated, and shooting up in the park - or a complete moron and president... and many things in-between :smile:

Out of all those, I say go with pharmacy if you're strong in math and science.

Something. Just don't REALLY do it the rest of your life. Leave that for an open book to do whatever the fuck the world sends your way.
Me personally am going to 'become' something that requires my physical strength and outdoor prowess under the sun. Perhaps I will learn how to build houses, manage lawns, control forests, etc. Whatever it is, you will see me in the melting pot before I live and work in a city.

Yeah, engineering was a bitch with all the math, definately steer clear. Business with a minor in engineering can't go bad tho :smile: Money to grow shrooms for sure

Off that list I'd pick engineering followed by law...stay away from communication, the study is a joke

umm, what a mixed variety of choices. I mean, we could probably help you if you gave up some info on what you enjoy doing, what your proficiencies are, and what type of job you'd prefer - otherwise, we're all just saying what we prefer.

What you need to understand is this... a degree is a piece of paper... something to wipe your ass with.

If you dont know people or have something "set up" that is all your degree is gonna be.... toilet paper.

I have a degree in a popular field... and I never found the job I was looking for...


My advice to you...

Find something you LIKE to do and do it well...

After that just climb the ladder...

Nursing if you want a job; Law if you'd like a more liberal education and don't necessarily want to go into law as a profession.

I agree. Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy, or Health Sciences (maybe) if you want a job. The medical field will ALWAYS have jobs available. Don't do communications, that's a fake major. Engineering is hard as hell, I just bailed on that. Agriculture? Nah..

Go Medicine. Help yourself and others.
