Most people nowadays use Google and Yahoo.

Which is your favorite search engine?

Mostly google. But sometimes altavista since I got their toolbar thing to block popups, and you can just, handily enough, search right in the browers window without going there.

I get good results at metacrawler.com, but I always forget to go there.

I had it for a while, but it kept asking me for shit so I switched to altavista, because I don't notice that one.

I like the way you can narrow down the search on Teoma.

i use google, but i used to use www.ixquick.com, which also searches multiple search engines just like dogpile, but doesnt seem to return as much bullshit as dp. ive tried teoma but they were having server trouble when i was using them. i like to cross reference google with teoma to find exactly what i want if google just wont do.

"A human being is part of a whole, called by us the Universe, a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings, as something separated from the rest--a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circles of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature in its beauty."
-Al Einstein
