Also note that an overdose does not imply death, though my above response goes along with that assumption.

Anything is POSSIBLE...  Some things are just highly unlikely (like most people having access to even a gram of needlepoint).

There is no way that they will find a "reversal" for the drug that she took. She is in a coma, all they can do now is wait. The drug is probably out of her system too and even if it wasn't, comas don't usually go away even if what caused them has passed.

you want guilt off your heart then go ahead and tell the hospital or the police, but it probably won't help her and it might get you answering questions that you don't want to answer or don't have the answers to.

Most cops definately don't know jack shit about things like research chemicals. They are often total fools. They don't have the sort of training or knowledge that people like us do, and even if they do, it'd still be difficult for them to find out what she took just by running some tests, I imagine. (Perhaps not?)

My old neighbor's father was an FBI narc who busted up a number of drug rings. The guy was a total idiot. He found a nitrous cracker in his son's room and said to his wife, "These are amyl nitrates, our son is doing amyl nitrates!" Come on now.

I imagine there are some people in the DEA who are wise to the research chemical thing, but I doubt cops would call in for help from them being that its a case of an overdose.

My prayers go out to your friend... what a sad situation.
