Go out and but some "growbrick" coco coir. It comes presterlized, meaning you just drop the brick in a bowl of water (spring water or use a little H202), squeeze till barely dripping and voila!

Use the jiffy mix(50/50 peat moss, vermiculite) for both top and bottom casing layers. I pretty sure your going to want to sterilize it first though. Either by boing it in a pillow case, or pressure cooking with oven bags, some people microwave it and swear success but I've never tried it personally. I'd say save the straight vermiculite, and use the perlite on the bottom of the terrarium for humidity, some people even suggest using a very thin layer of perlite at the very bottom of the casing to wick up any stagnant pools of water that may form at the bottom, who knows, probably couldn't hurt? Check out all the documents in the grow/find/casing section if you havn't all ready.
