Human Gender Reconcilliation After 2012

I believe, in my 'heart of hearts', that after 2012 all the men and boys on planet Earth will say to womankind 'hey i'm sorry for all these thousands of years of looking down on women and oppression of women and witch trials and such things' and then all the women and girls on planet Earth will go 'hey that's ok, i mean, i'm sorry for being so superficial and constantly betraying you for someone younger and stronger and so fueling your competitive destructive nature, that was really shitty of us too.'

And then there'll be a big hug and we'll go skipping off into the sunset together knowing that each did the other wrong to the same degree and things will be better from now on (after 2012)

I don't think there'll be orgies after 2012 as it kind of is an undignified primal activity and we will hopefully be CONSTANTLY COGNIZANT of our true nature as DIGNIFIED SPIRITS wearing flesh biosuits.

Also people with HIV will start being responsible and stop having sex until they die.

ay i'm new here, just signed up...i feel fresh and so clean but...
anyways, i have been a follower of the band incubus, much through my adolescence, i have listened to them and have been crucially influenced by them. Many of their songs have references to the winter solstice of 2012 AD. The claim is that the world is to come to an end, and for awhile the thought frightened me...but i decided to get in depth with the prophetic date and found it to be rather a new beginning than an end. As the solstice draws near, the planet earth, and the entire galaxy is moving into a new constellation plane.(I'm not sure how this plane works if someone could elucidate it for me much appreciation would be offered lol.) but the claim is that we are about to enter a new celestial age, something that happens like every 25000 years or something.....butttttt it says that as we enter the new age, which we already have, 2012 is the end point of the transition phase, there was said to be heavy violence etc and then as the shift was completed, pure beauty, intelligence, peace, happiness, human advancement. We are said to become a star bound race.

i think your scratching a surface truth. I think if a cosmic eschaton/enlightenment comes, there will be a gender reconciliation on all levels. That is, on an individual level there will be a uniifying/reconciliation of our own internal masculine and feminine sides, thus ending all the emotional trauma resulting from that imbalance. This will be mirrored on the familial, social and global levels.

2012 may well be an end to this illusory world of percieved dualism. What that means is that all apparent opposites (male and female, good and evil, light and dark) will be reconciled to one another. The gender reconciliation will be only one aspect of this cosmic healing.

I've seen no evidence for 2012. At least the Y2K freaks actually had reasoning behind their insanity, but 2012 is just pseudoscience.

Were the Mayans advanced for their time? Yes. Are we much more advanced nowadays and still haven't seen any reason 2012 should scientifically be significant? Of course, as always.

I'm not talking about timing, I mean, sure someone mentioned a specific year once, so the date is not made up, someone did mention it

but all this stuff about dualism, revolution, cosmic forces, and stuff like that, where does that come from? No prophet or such a creature did suggest anything like that, so it had to be made up

Here we go again...

If you put a pole through the Earth passing through the north and south pole, each end will draw a circle on the sky every ~26,000 years. This wobbling is called precession and can be seen to occur in any spinning object (like a child's top) to which a torque has been applied. In the case of the Earth, the torque occurs as a result of the Earth's equatorial bulge, and the gravitational tidal forces of the Moon, Sun, and planets.

Precession, over a period of 26,000 years, slowly drifts the ecliptic (the path of the sun each year through the fixed background of stars) westward by about 1.5 degrees per century.

In 2012, precession will bring into conjunction the plane of our galaxy and the plane of the ecliptic. This is nothing special; let me tell you why.

Since the Earth is 5 billion years old and since the precession period is 26,000 years, then this conjunction has already occurred 5,000,000,000 / 26,000 times, or roughly 200,000 times. This is just one more time. In 26,000 years, it will happen again and all the year 26,2012 nuts will be singing their song all over again.

If this isn't enough, 2012 proponents claim that the Earth will pass through some kind of radiation band in that year. The band is variously described as a gigantic, intense band of radiation originating in the constellation of the Pleiades, passing through Orion, and ending at the Earth.

Note that the Hubble Space Telescope, which can detect galaxies billions of light years distant, can't detect this radiation band. For the record, neither can I. This is a photograph of the Orion Nebula I made a couple of years ago. As you can see, there is no band of radiation anywhere to be found.
