Help 1 pint can i do this

Well what i want to do is fill the jar with about 300 ml substrat or less put tin foil In side All the way down to it and then about 2 inches vermiculite over the tin foil and close it

But when i inclulat im going to take lid off and push syringe threw the tinfoil then close lid imeditaly working in a sterlile enviroment oven tek will this work ??? must i make hole's in the lid !!!!! thank's alot :)

no tin foil is necessary. (ramsy seal sux). 1/2" verm layer will do. You can innoc the way you mentioned. The verm layer will protect against contams, just flame your needle. Holes are not needed, just loosen the lid 1/4 turn for air exchange.

my friend has been using a ramsey seal with his rye jars. he is too cheap and impatient to buy filters. he likes ramsey seal because it allows him to shake rye without destroying the sterile layer. innoculation is done through single hole in the center of the lid

No it won't work without holes in the lid. You're nitrosol idea is no good either. Stick to the Teks. After you've grown a crop or two, then you can revolutionize cultivation.

Do you mean That i must make Holes in the lid for air exchange Or that I have to fill the 1 pint becuase i dont get Half pint's here and i dont want to wait for ever to colanize
Dont see why it wont work ?

That weren't no flame, that were sarcasm. But, you're right, sometimes it comes out sounding mean spirited. For that I apologize. Puscle loves all shroomers. Anyway, yes, some air exchange is needed, holes will provide this.

Yes, contams as well as failure. We need to ensure some sort of air exchange. Yeah, you can bake wet verm at 200 degrees for an hour and a half.
