Drying

Why is taking so long for these things to dry... put a whole lot of shrooms in a damp riod container and its taking very long to dry them out...any tips??? refrigerate?

Firstist my foaf says to dry them fairly good witha fan first ,he sets a small fan inside of a computer box [card board box then sets that corrugated card board in front of the fan [it acts as a minie drying rack and promotes air flow all around the fungi's ]then sets the fungi's on top of the card board turns on the fan adjusts the speed usually on low or medium and sets the lid of the box where half of it is in the box and half is notleaves a space for air to escape and covers the fungi's in case prying eyes looked into the room where they are at also the fan runs very quietly ,any way after a day or two maybe more if you have a large volume ,he puts them in ice cream buckets with dessicant on the bottom and a cotton cloth streatched accross to hold the shrooms hope this helps sum .Mew
