Would Someone (Anno) Explain this Setup?

Here is a picture that I found, after searching through the archives. It was posted by Anno with little or no explanation (as usual [hyak yak yak]).


Is that an H202 solution in the bottle? Or just water? The pump pushes air into the bottle under the water, forcing air bubbles up and out into the other tube leading to the terarrium? Is this correct?

Yeah you got the right idea. Its a more technical way of hooking an air bubbler up to your terrarium. You can either do that setup which looks like a bong ;) or you can just put the air pump on the outside and put a tube going in and inside the terrarium you have a cup and the tube goes into the cup making it bubble.
You can use an H202 solution or just water. That pic brings back memories because when I asked about bubblers he posted it ;)

Just water.

Yes.
I found this setup to only be beneficial in the pinning stage, after the pins are there, the bubler gives away too much moisture. I?m talking of casings here, for cakes you will want to keep the bubbler throughout the fruiting stage.
