just wanna say thanks to anno for helping with a site that i find so valuable. also anyone else who is working on, or has worked on this site. It's great to have a group of people you can look to for guidance in such a rewarding hobby. all the help and good nature is much appreciated, the shroomery always brings a smile to the face. thanks. peace.

While I'm still quite a newbie here, I've spent quite a bit of time reading (and re-reading...And re-reading...) too many of the posts here to count....Many of them by Anno.
While I never really spoke with Anno directly, nor to any great extent, my impression of this place is that:
1) It is well run;
2) it is a gigantic compendium of data which is incredibly useful to the inexeperienced and experienced amateur mycologist alike;
3) it has been a great place for those of similar minds to meet, and exchange info
Being the admin of a site myself (IRL), I am acutely aware of just how much work goes into it, and I am sad to see him go. In addition, I do not envy the increased workload for the other admins - I really really don't  - and I hope that everyone else will be understanding if there are any lags in anything , so please be tolerant, everyone.
Fare thee well, Anno, and I sincerely wish you success in all future endeavours - and no, I'm not one for platitudes, so please take that sincerely.

anno, ur help and advice has given me more then u can imagine. knowledge that u have transfered to my brain has made so much of an impact on my donkeys life, and all my donkeys friends. Anno, this is a toast to u. Thank you for being the genius that u are. good luck with ur studies.
ps. my donkey's brother had a child 2 monthes ago.. I suggested the name Anno and now my donkey has a nephew who's middle name Anno..

Anno you were and still are a great person and a kickass Mycologist, glad to see you are taking "chemical enginerring" you will accel in it i know you will your one of the best. Hopefully now everyone will try harder than ever to work to fill your shoes and help the shroomery as much as you did durning your great days here.
