straw/manure mix good?

I'd like to get results like the ones I see in some of the pictures where there are so many shrooms growing at once there is hardly room for them all.
I've used straw with grain spawn and only got moderate yields so now I figure on adding manure to the straw.
Tips please!!!!!!

Equal parts of straw, manure and verm works nicely. Also, it helps to clone a big one.
