Help identify this mushroom

The following looks like it could be P. cyanescens, except the cap isn't "wavy" like they claim it should be. Does anyone have any clue as to what this is or if it is infact hallucinogenic.

Your about six months off for cyanescens.
Not active, possibly poisonous.
Nobody is going to ID without more info.

well to make sure make a print but if u say it looks liek a cyansen and its not wavy then i would say its poisonous and can kill you. its called galirina marginata. They only grow on logs and trees usauly rotting ones. they also grow off fallen branches. they closely resemble cyansens.

WHOAH!

Do NOT eat that mushroom. That looks very much like deadly poisonous Galerina Autumnalis. YOu've got to know that one back and forth if you're going to hunt mushrooms! Do you know the death cap? Do you know the destroying angel?

Please learn more about mushrooms before hunting. It just might save your life!

Well that isnt pc cyan, not even close. Keep your eyes open and in the fall hopefully you will find some. Once you find a cyan and then compare it to this one you will realize that they are waaaavy different

Stop experimenting half way through your first grow. Grow it to maturity, watch it, learn from it. Do this a few times then experiment with different ideas and figure out what works best for you.

Yeah i know about death caps and that, I was just curious since it fit most of the characteristics, and was found in a place where they grow. But yeah I figured it wasn't anything i should eat.

I would never eat something not identified.

sacred_mushroom - not funny.

pinkfloydian - the worst thing you can get from touching a mushroom is contact dermatitis (a skin rash). You cannot be dangerously poisoned by touching a mushroom. I have handled more deadly poisonous mushrooms than I care to try to remember without any symptoms of any sort.

That isn't a Cyan...a Cyan has a white stem.

It looks like Galerina marginata...don't eat that!~

I'm not trying to be a 'jerk off' and there's no reason to get so worked up over practically nothing, i've seen far worse posts aimed at fellow newbs gone unrecognized.
Obviously, pinkfloydian is not mentally retarded so assuming he believed my post, he would (like any of us) go to a search engine and find out if mushrooms really are poisinous to the touch. Sometimes its a good thing to do some research for yourself.
Not to mention, it would be pathetic to think that the rest of the people on the forum would go along with it, without letting him know that he is in no danger. In my view, no harm done.. but i guess you guys feel that i need to be punished like a little kid for simply playing off of somebodys lack of knowledge.

Pinkfloydian, i'm truley sorry of i offended you as bad as i obviously did to some people.

shroomhead its nothing active and is most-likely a very dangerous mushroom, if you found these dont eat them.
